Bring fall learning to life with one ready-to-play collection designed for sensory play, early math, literacy, and fine-motor fun!

The September Spotlight combines a colorful fall corn sensory blend with three hands-on activities: Squirrel Soup, Feed the Hungry Turkey, and Pumpkin Sounds. Children can follow recipe cards, count and collect fall-themed ingredients, practice beginning sounds, or simply scoop, pour, search, and explore.

Everything is coordinated around one fall theme, making it easy to change the activity without creating an entirely new setup.

Perfect for preschool, Pre-K, kindergarten, homeschool, learning centers, and hands-on play at home.

WAYS TO PLAY

Make Squirrel Soup
Choose a recipe card and count each ingredient into the bowl. Children practice counting, one-to-one correspondence, following visual directions, and fine-motor skills while creating their pretend soup.

Feed the Hungry Turkey
Follow a recipe card and count the correct number of fall ingredients before feeding them to the turkey. It's a playful way to turn early math practice into hands-on fun.

Hunt for Pumpkin Sounds
Hide the pumpkin picture cards in the sensory mix and let children search for them. Identify each picture, say its beginning sound, and use the alphabet reference sheet to find the matching uppercase letter.

Find & Color
Pumpkin Sounds can also be used without the sensory mix. Children can choose or find a picture card, identify its initial sound, and color the matching letter pumpkin on the Find & Color sheet.

Scoop, Pour & Explore
The fall corn mix also works beautifully for open-ended sensory play. Add the included manipulatives and let children scoop, pour, sort, search, count, and create their own fall play.
